The boys are 14, 15 and 17 years old.
My impression is that it is not they themselves who are behind these plans, says prosecutor Emma Sjöbeck to HD.
The two oldest are prosecuted for conspiracy to murder, but since the 14-year-old is not of legal age, the prosecutor has brought a so-called evidence case so that the district court can still assess whether he is guilty or not.
If he is considered guilty by the district court, social services will be involved.
According to the prosecutor, the 15-year-old has been hired to carry out a murder and the 17-year-old another one. The 14-year-old's role in all this was to hire the 17-year-old for the task.
The murder plans, which were never carried out, were revealed when the police cracked the 14-year-old's mobile phone.
The two prosecuted boys have admitted what happened, but deny the crime.
