A teenage boy is detained, suspected of having shot a young man to death in Södertälje.
He is detained on probable cause, suspected of murder, says Robin Simonsson at the Prosecutor's Office press service.
The shooting occurred at around 2 pm on Friday in the Geneta district. A man in his 20s was found shot in a pedestrian tunnel. He had been shot multiple times.
The man was taken to hospital by ambulance, but his life could not be saved.
A short time after the shooting, the suspected teenage boy was arrested.
At the latest on Monday, a prosecutor will decide whether the boy should be requested to be detained or released on bail.
