One of the detonations occurred in Lina hage in Södertälje, where something exploded on the front side of a house.
A 15-year-old boy was arrested in connection with a traffic stop. He has been detained and is suspected of general endangerment and gross offense against the law on fire hazardous and explosive goods.
It was at 19:50 on Wednesday that the detonation occurred. 20 minutes earlier, the police had been alerted to another detonation on a row house plot in Nykvarn south of Stockholm. The police are classifying the incident as gross general endangerment.
Whether there are any connections between the two explosions cannot be answered at present, according to the police.
We will continue to investigate if there are any connections. The boy who has been arrested is only suspected of the explosion in Lina hage, says Daniel Wikdahl, press spokesperson for the police.
No one is reported to have been injured in the explosions.
