Ted Gärdestad is praised by Seinabo Sey, Niklas Strömstedt and Ellen Krauss with a concert at Berwaldhallen this spring when the artist would have turned 70 years old.

Swedish Radio's Symphony Orchestra pays tribute to the beloved artist and songwriter with three concerts in March 2026.

On stage is also Ted Gärdestad's daughter Sara Zacharias. Together with the Radio Symphony Orchestra and under the direction of the conductor and arranger Erik Arvinder, the artists offer new interpretations of the melodies that have become an obvious part of Swedish music history, according to Berwaldhallen in a press release.

The concerts will be a journey through Ted Gärdestad's life and artistry – from the playful pop's light to the big, existential questions that permeate his later works.
