”Weak development in the vehicle sector contributes to weak development for the technology industry overall”, writes Teknikföretagen.

”Except for the pandemic, the index is largely remaining at its lowest level since the euro crisis over fifteen years ago”, adds Teknikföretagen's chief economist, Erik Spector, in a press release.

According to Spector, one can however see a slightly less negative development for incoming orders compared to three months ago.

”It is primarily companies within the machine industry, metal goods industry, transport industry as well as suppliers to the construction and contracting industry that contribute to the increase in the net number of incoming orders”, writes Teknikföretagen.
