My team is playing very well right now, which makes my job very easy, says skipper Wranå after the match.
First, Denmark was defeated 9–8 on Sunday afternoon, which was followed up with a clear 9–4 victory against Italy in the evening.
After her Olympic success, Isabella Wranå is leading her team - consisting of Linda Stenlund, Maria Larsson, and Almida de Val - in the team's first senior World Championships.
And just like at the Olympics, Wranå found herself in the spotlight in the match against Italy. The team captain fell during the fourth end and had to throw herself out of the way to avoid being hit by an Italian stone.
The ice is slippery! Wranå says in the post-match interview.
