"It's fantastic, it's great fun to play for medals with these girls, it's been a big goal for us. Being in the semifinals now feels great," says skipper Isabella Wranå in the post-match interview.
In the regular season match against South Korea, Sweden won narrowly 8–7 after a shootout. In the quarterfinals, it was a much more comfortable victory for Team Wranå.
Halfway through the match, the Swedes led 5–1, a lead they maintained until the final stone. The match ended 9–5.
Team Wranå now faces Switzerland in the semifinal, which will be played at 23:00 local time in Sweden. In the regular season, Sweden lost to Switzerland.
