Team Hasselborg beat Turkey in the European Championship

The Swedish women's curling team took their second victory in the European Championship when they defeated Turkey 7–3. Sunday was also a lucky day for the men. Team Niklas Hedin scored double victories.

Team Anna Hasselborg has opened the championship in Lohja, Finland with two wins and one loss.

Sweden had a comfortable lead in the match for a long time, 4–1, but then Turkey's team Dilsat Yildiz narrowed it to 4–3 before the final round. It ended with three Swedish points and a match victory of 7–3.

On Monday, Sweden will face both Germany and Italy.

Earlier on Sunday, the Swedish men's team won over Denmark 10–4. Later, Niklas Edin's team faced Germany for the men's second match of the day. There too, they won 5–3 after a strong start to the match.
