All three major music services report record figures for "The life of a showgirl", which was released on Friday. It took eleven hours for the album to become the most played record in a day on Spotify – and the album reached the same record level on Apple Music.
On Amazon Music, the album is the most streamed in a day – in the music service's history.
"The life of a showgirl" is Taylor Swift's twelfth album and was recorded in secret in Stockholm with the Swedish producers Max Martin and Shellback.
