Taylor Swift's new album is breaking records even before it is released. The album has been pre-ordered over five million times on Spotify – more than any other album.

The superstar's twelfth album "The life of a showgirl" is released on October 3, and the interest is of course enormous. The album has now been pre-booked on Spotify over five million times, which is a record for the streaming service, writes Rolling Stone.

Swift's latest album "The tortured poets department", which was released last year, was streamed 300 million times on Spotify in one day and one billion in five days – which was also a record.

The new album was recorded in Sweden together with the Swedish star producers Max Martin and Karl Johan "Shellback" Schuster. The twelve new songs are expected to deal with, among other things, everything that happened while she was touring the world with the massive tour "The eras tour".
