The millions have been distributed among nine food banks, an animal welfare organization, seven educational programs and three children's hospitals, a spokesperson announced ahead of the wedding, which is rumored to take place in New York this weekend.
According to Variety, the donations are part of the wedding celebrations, but it has not yet been confirmed whether the couple will marry.
Swift has donated large sums of money on several occasions. For example, during her 2023 tour, when several local food banks announced that they had received donations from the artist as the tour passed through the city.
