On average, goods in duty-free shops are 39 percent more expensive than those online, according to the price comparison site's new survey. The survey includes items such as perfume, makeup and sunglasses.

"Bargains are available, but they require you to have done your research. Check the price online before you buy. It takes thirty seconds and can save you hundreds of kronor," says Isabella Ahmadi, consumer expert at Prisjakt, in a press release.

The price survey included 1,048 products available at Arlanda Airport and in online stores on June 9–10. Of these, 865 were cheaper online.
