Malmö FF's head coach Henrik Rydström is one of three final candidates for the coaching job at Premier League club Brighton.
The Telegraph reports.
The newspaper writes that German St Pauli coach Fabian Hürzeler, 31 years old, together with Rydström and former coach Graham Potter are Brighton's three final candidates.
Hürzeler led St Pauli to the Bundesliga for the upcoming season.
It has previously been rumored that Rydström is a candidate for Brighton since Roberto De Zerbi left as manager after the previous season.
Even Sweden-based Potter is according to the newspaper a candidate.
He left Brighton for Chelsea, but was fired during his first season in the London club over a year ago.
Brighton has previously been rejected by Kieran McKenna, who chose to extend with Ipswich after taking the club to the Premier League.
