Malmö FF's Henrik Rydström has been in the running for the coaching job at Brighton in the Premier League.
Now the club has made its choice.
According to Sky Sports, Brighton will choose Fabian Hürzeler from German St Pauli.
If so, Rydström appears to be staying with the Swedish champion team.
The Telegraph reported on Thursday that Rydström was one of three final candidates together with Hürzeler and former coach Graham Potter.
According to Sky Sports, Brighton has now decided on Fabian Hürzeler, who led St Pauli, the Hamburg club, to the Bundesliga last season.
According to Sky Sports, the work permit is in order and the clubs are now negotiating a compensation for the 31-year-old.
Hürzeler will replace Roberto De Zerbi, who left Brighton after the season.
