Swedish NHL forward Adrian Kempe has agreed to an eight-year contract to remain with his club Los Angeles, a source told AP. The contract is said to be worth more than 800 million kronor.

The agreement is said to be valid until the 2033–2034 season, and he is said to receive an average of just over $10.6 million per season.

Kempe has scored 200 goals and 220 assists during his ten-year NHL career, all while playing for Los Angeles.

He has already been selected to represent Sweden in the Olympics.
