Iran is to meet with representatives from France, the United Kingdom, and Germany in Switzerland on January 13 to discuss the revival of the nuclear energy agreement JCPOA.
Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi says the country is "ready for fair and honorable negotiations" with the West.
The talks will take place just a week before the newly elected US President Donald Trump takes office. The US withdrew from the nuclear energy agreement in 2018, during Trump's previous presidential term.
Just a year later, Iran breached its commitments by increasing the enrichment level of uranium beyond the nuclear energy agreement. Since then, several attempts have been made to revive the agreement, without success.
