Waltz says on X that he is in the capital Amman to see the “vital work” that Jordan and the UN are doing with humanitarian aid.
"We are ready to continue with the reconstruction of Gaza, providing security and providing humanitarian, not only essential goods, but what is required for reconstruction," he said in a video message.
So we are ready to tear down the bureaucratic barriers and get started.
Kaja Kallas has met with King Abdullah II, the Jordanian royal family said in a statement.
They discussed, among other things, the importance of "following the terms of the agreement to end the war in Gaza and ensure the flow of emergency aid," AFP writes.
Waltz will also meet with the King. He will then travel on to Israel for meetings with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and President Isaac Herzog.
