The International Booker Prize is considered one of the world's finest literary awards for translated literature. This year, the prize went to Taiwanese author Yang Shuang-Zi for "Taiwan Travelogue."
Swedish Ia Genberg was among the 13 nominees for the short story collection "Klen tröst", but was dropped when the list was narrowed to six.
Genberg was also nominated in 2024 for "The Details".
