The company Sevan is recalling the products Tahini in 200-gram bottles with a best-before date of 1 August 2026 to 20 February 2026, as well as Halva vanilla (best before 18 January 2026) and Halva pistachio in 400-gram cans (23 January 2026). This is after salmonella was detected during sampling.

"Salmonella is a health risk and we urge consumers who have purchased any of the affected products not to consume them, but instead discard the product", the company writes in a press release.
