The American fast food giant Taco Bell is on its way to establish itself in Sweden, according to Dagens Industri. The chain with over 8,500 restaurants all over the world will open a first restaurant in Stockholm but plans an expansion all over the country.
Behind the initiative is the franchisee TB Group Scandinavia where the CEO Monir Kalgoum and his brother, the NHL professional Mika Zibanejad have been involved in the hamburger chain Brödernas which has undergone a reconstruction.
Taco Bell, which was founded in the 60s, belongs to the fast food concern Yum! Brands where also Kentucky Fried Chicken and Pizza Hut are included.
