The Lebanese Shia militia Hezbollah denies operating in Syria and says it no longer has any presence on Syrian territory.
The movement calls the reports "false and fabricated" and accuses foreign intelligence services of trying to inflame tensions between neighboring countries.
Hezbollah provided military support to Syria's former dictator Bashar al-Assad, who was overthrown in 2024 by former jihadist leader and now Syria's interim president, Ahmed al-Sharaa.
