Syria's Foreign Minister Asaad al-Shaibani has met a diplomatic delegation from Israel in Paris on Tuesday to discuss, among other things, "de-escalation", reports the Syrian state news agency Sana.
The talks, mediated by the USA, resulted in "understandings that support stability in the region", according to Sana.
The mediating country USA has recently been working to stabilize the relationship between Syria and Israel.
