According to a ministry spokesperson, Switzerland is “always ready” to “facilitate dialogue between the US and Iran.”
Oman will act as a mediator, just as it did in the last negotiations held on February 6. No exact date for the new indirect talks is mentioned.
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi called the latest meeting “a good start” to the resumed dialogue. At that time, only Iran’s nuclear energy program was on the agenda, not the country’s missile program - something requested by Israel, among others.
Negotiations between Russia, Ukraine and the United States on the war in Ukraine are also planned in Geneva next week.
