Anna Swenn Larsson finished sixth and Sara Hector seventh in Flachau. Mikaela Shiffrin won again. The superstar has won six of seven slalom races in the World Cup this winter.

It was a double American victory, as Shiffrin won by 0.41 seconds over teammate Paula Moltzan. Home skier Katharina Truppe of Austria came in third, followed by Anna Swenn Larsson and Sara Hector, who both put in solid performances with less than a month to go before the Olympics.

Swenn Larsson was the best of the Swedes in the first run, finishing fifth, while Hector (eighth in the first) was the sharper of the two Swedes in the second run. It was enough for sixth and seventh place respectively, 1.16 and 1.54 seconds behind the superb Shiffrin.

Other Swedes - Estelle Alphand, Cornelia Öhlund, Hanna Aronsson Elfman and Moa Landström - all dropped out.

There is one World Cup slalom remaining before the Olympics. It will be held in Spindleruv Mlyn, Czech Republic, on January 25.
