A truck driver who parked his vehicle at a rest area outside Neustadt-Glewe in northern Germany on Tuesday morning was shocked when he returned that evening. Someone had stolen the entire truck - which was loaded with 15 tons of sweets, more specifically jelly candies, according to radio station NDR.
The truck is wanted, but as of Wednesday evening, the police had not found it, despite asking the public for help.
The value of the sweets is estimated to be around 250,000 euros, equivalent to nearly 2.7 million kronor.
