When the ship was returned after just over six months to the non-profit organisation Vikingaleden, it was relatively well preserved, but had suffered the expected damage from being transported between different filming locations.

According to an agreement, the film company would cover the repair costs, in addition to the rent. But the company has not yet paid the $6,000 invoice sent by the association.

"It's coffee money for such a company," says Peter Olausson, chairman of the Vikingaleden Association, to Värmlands Folkblad.

According to him, Universal has not responded to any emails since last winter.
