Tre Kronor dam got quick revenge in the tournament in Lahti, Finland. Hilda Svensson put the score 1–0 in the middle of the first period and then secured the victory when she got the puck into an empty goal cage with 23 seconds left in the game. In the first game, Blågult lost a 1–0 lead to lose to Finland, 2–3.
The tournament – which is the last before the national team gathers for the departure to the Italy Olympics – ends on Friday against Switzerland.
Sweden begins the Winter Games in Italy with the match against Germany on February 5. Then Italy, France and Japan await in the group stage.
