But the Swedes pulled themselves together and picked up points in every round after that before China conceded after the ninth round.
Sweden, who won their fourth game in a row, are third in the regular-season standings and are approaching the playoffs. In total, the Swedes have six wins and two losses.
The next Swedish match will be played on Thursday night against Japan.
