This will be the veteran's second Olympics as he was part of the team that won silver at the 2014 Sochi tournament.

On Friday morning, three more players were presented in an email to Tre Kronor's supporter club, Folkets lag. It was announced that, in addition to Ekman-Larsson, Jacob Markström and Elias Pettersson had also been selected for the Swedish Olympic squad.
34-year-old Ekman-Larsson has seven goals and a total of 25 points in 40 games this season.

At 4 p.m. this afternoon, national team captain Sam Hallam will present his 25-player Olympic squad ahead of the Winter Games in Milan and Cortina, which will be held next month.
