Ahead of winter, the Swedish Transport Administration is strengthening its preparedness with new high-capacity snow blowers, winter equipment at selected locations and other measures to prevent disruptions.
With the help of new high-capacity snow blowers that can clear up to 7,500 tonnes of snow per hour, the transport system will be reliable year-round, the authority promises.
The Swedish Transport Administration is adding two new snow blowers to the Duved–Storlien and Abisko–Riksgränsen routes, where traffic is often affected by heavy snowfall.
