In July 2025, Sweden's trade surplus was SEK 3.5 billion.

Seasonal effects explain the reduced surplus, according to Statistics Sweden.

"Seasonally adjusted, the trade balance shows a surplus of SEK 2.8 billion for July, and a surplus of SEK 2.6 billion in June. For May, the corresponding figure was a surplus of SEK 2.0 billion," writes Statistics Sweden.
