Swedish trade deficit widens to SEK 7.3 billion in April

This resulted in a SEK 7.3 billion trade deficit for Sweden, according to Statistics Sweden (SCB).

This is the largest deficit since August 2025, when it was SEK 8.7 billion, and it can be compared with the surplus of SEK 6.9 billion in March this year.

Adjusted for seasonal effects, the trade balance shows a deficit of SEK 2.9 billion for April, and a deficit of SEK 1.4 billion in March, according to Statistics Sweden.
