The Stockholm District Court has ruled in a verdict announced on Thursday.

The Experience Park sued the state for financial compensation after being forced to close its operations in the summer of 2020. The Police Authority considered that the number of visitors to the park's various theatrical performances should be counted together even if the performances were played at different locations in the park.

This was based on the ordinance adopted during the pandemic at the request of the Public Health Agency regarding restrictions on the number of people at various gatherings.

The park appealed the decision and was granted the right in the Administrative Court in 2024 and therefore decided to pursue a claim for damages for lost income to the Chancellor of Justice (JK).
