With her two world premieres this year, "Crowning a Queen" and "The Whole World's Recipe," she showed that "she masters the poetic and concrete expression of theater in language and direction," the critics' jury said.
The Children and Youth Prize goes to playwright and director Malin Axelsson. As artistic director of the National Theatre for Children and Youth, she "explores and portrays the children's perspective consistently and courageously," the jury said.
Dancer and choreographer Cristina Caprioli will receive the dance prize and the Manne af Klintberg honorary prize.
The award winners are selected by the Swedish Theatre Critics Association and receive various award plaques.
