It is the first time since 2015 that Sweden takes gold in the European Championship, the last time it was Mikael Ymer who won.

In the final, Charo Esquiva Banuls, Spain, was defeated with 6–4, 7–6 (7–2).
Nellie Taraba Wallberg also took bronze together with Linea Bajraliu, Helsingborg, in the doubles.
Nellie Taraba Wallberg is the daughter of former boxing star Frida Wallberg.
