Last fall, it was announced that Ulf Rosberg and Christer Gardell wanted to sponsor Swedish tennis with 100 million kronor - on the condition that the entire board resign. The financiers got their way, and Rosberg was voted in as the new chairman in April.
Now the new board has begun work on changes.
"The board has also made the assessment that Swedish tennis now needs new energy," said Rosberg in a press release.
"It has been a privilege to run Swedish tennis for ten years. But it can be good to bring in a new voice, and I respect that," said Sjöö, who will remain as an advisor until the end of the year.
