The Court of Appeal in Frederiksberg has concluded that he is guilty of attempting to murder a young man. The crime was preceded by a chat in which the then 17-year-old boy was promised money to carry out the act.
The teenager, who lived in an institution in Malmö, took the train to Denmark, where he was equipped with two weapons.
The shots were fired at 6 p.m. on the evening of August 5, a time when many people were moving around on the street. The man who was shot was hit in the back and suffered life-threatening injuries.
The prosecutor had requested an even harsher sentence: ten and a half years in prison. In addition to the prison sentence, the teenager is also ordered to be deported. He is to pay 53,000 Swedish kronor in damages.
