The transport of the explosive device was carried out on December 28, 2023. There were 25 people in the house where an explosion was planned. The crime was interrupted when a police car arrived at the address.

The sentence for what the Swede has been convicted of is actually 12 years' imprisonment, said Judge Mads Spanggaard Stokholm, when the verdict was announced in the Odense district court. However, since he had not yet turned 18 when the crime was committed, he will receive a two-year sentence reduction, reports TV 2 Fyn.

He is also sentenced to deportation after serving his sentence.

Three additional individuals involved are sentenced to 10 years' imprisonment and five and three and a half years, respectively.

Three of the convicted, including the Swede, immediately announced that the verdict will be appealed.
