That Swedes Max Martin and Karl Johan Schuster "Shellback" have produced Swift's album many are aware of, but on the album a number of more or less well-known Swedes also participate.

Taylor Swift went out on Instagram and wrote "an eternal thank you" to the Swedish producers Max Martin and Shellback who she calls her friends and mentors.

But there are many more Swedes who have helped out on the newly released album "The life of a showgirl".

Pitchfork has compiled a list of names of people who have participated on the album. Among them is Mattias Bylund who has been responsible for the recording of several songs. However, it's not the first time he collaborates with Swift. In 2016, he received a Grammy for string arrangement on her album "1989". He is also the conductor for the TV program Bingolotto.

Also participating is the sound producer Lasse Mårtén, who has previously helped artists like Adele. He is also the recording engineer for the entire album.

Erik Arvinder directs the musicians on the song "Cancelled" and also participates as a violinist on several of the other songs.

On the main track "The life of a showgirl", Swedish musicians play strings. One of them is Conny Lindgren who has played with Avicii, Pink and Charlie Puth.

Some other musicians who play on the album are Daniela Bonfiglioli from the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and Fredrik Syberg from the Royal Court Orchestra as well as the wind musicians Magnus Johansson, Janne Bjerger, Wojtek Goral, Tomas Jonsson and Peter Noos Johansson.
