The Swedes scored all the goals, and Liam Öhgren decided the penalty shootout as Vancouver beat Seattle.

The NHL match ended 3-2 after Linus Karlsson and Elias Pettersson scored Vancouver's goals in regulation time, and Liam Öhgren was the only player to score in the shootout after a goalless overtime.

Öhgren also had an assist on Karlsson's goal.

The team's Finnish goaltender Kevin Lankinen made 37 saves.

With the victory, Vancouver snapped its two-game losing streak and ended Seattle's four-game winning streak.

Marcus Johansson had a goal and three assists in Minnesota's 5–2 victory over Vegas.

"He's really playing with a lot of confidence. His two-way game has been very solid," said coach John Hynes after the game.
