In yesterday's match against Germany, the NBA star Pelle Larsson and Simon Birgander were missing. The Swedes had fallen ill during the night before the match and did not participate in the game.
The match became a clear loss (83–105) and therefore Saturday's meeting against Great Britain will be important if the national basketball team is to have the opportunity to advance to the finals.
Prior to the match, there is now good news. Larsson and Birgander are available for play again.
"After the medical and physiological evaluation earlier today, we assess together that their participation in today's match is possible", says the national team doctor Houman Ebrahimi in a statement.
The match starts at 15.30.
