Kulusevski scores goal – when the back star came off

The Swedish football star Dejan Kulusevski scored a goal for the fourth consecutive match for Tottenham, when they defeated Manchester United 4–3 in the quarterfinal of the English League Cup. A gloomier evening became it for Victor Nilsson Lindelöf.

Kulusevski struck almost immediately after the halftime break when he made it 2–0 for Tottenham, a stylish shot with his right foot just inside the left post.

The Swedish star has thus scored goals in four consecutive matches – two matches in the Premier League, one in the Europa League, and one in the League Cup.

The match ended 4–3 to Tottenham, who are clear for the semifinal in the English League Cup.

It was darker for the Swedish part on the other half of the pitch. Victor Nilsson Lindelöf started for his United, but was forced to leave just before the break due to a suspected injury.

It was after a corner for United that Nilsson Lindelöf sat down on the pitch. After waving in and talking to the medical staff, the Swede left the pitch on his own.

Another Swede got playing time this evening. Lucas Bergvall was substituted in for Spurs with just over ten minutes left, and managed to collect a yellow card.
