According to the prosecutor, the suspected crimes were committed in March this year at an unknown location in Sweden.
The man was arrested on Friday morning.
The investigation is being conducted by the Security Service under the leadership of prosecutors at the National Unit for Security Cases.
The detention hearing will be held on Monday at Stockholm District Court.
