The Swedish golfer Tim Widing withdraws from the PGA tournament on Hawaii due to illness.
The tournament was the 27-year-old's first as a member on the USA tour.
When the second round was about to start in Honolulu, the PGA tour announced that Widing had fallen ill and was withdrawing from the tournament.
After Thursday's first round, Widing was four strokes over par after a 74-round.
Widing secured his membership on the USA tour this season through a successful 2024 on the Korn Ferry sub-tour.
