Marshall Group is valued at 11.8 billion kronor in the deal, according to the newspaper.

Telia announces shortly after the information in the newspaper that the mobile operator has entered into an agreement to sell its holding in Marshall Group – 9.6 percent of the shares – to the same Chinese fund for 101 million euros (1.15 billion kronor).

"This is the right time for us to sell our holding in Marshall Group as we get a proper valuation of our shares at a time when Telia's strategic priority is to grow our core business, and where Marshall Group and their employees can realize the company's growth potential with a new majority owner", writes Telia in a press release.

Marshall Group, which sells everything from speakers to headphones, will be owned by Hongshan at 80 percent when the deal is finalized.

According to Di, the Marshall founder family will own the remaining 20 percent.
