The reason is that the Discrimination Ombudsman (DO) recently decided to sue the police over how the boy's family was treated in connection with the disappearance.
"Although my review is not limited to the legal issues that DO's lawsuit focuses on, the main sequence of events will now be subject to judicial review," Ombudsman Per Lennerbrant says in a press release.
