Swedish NBA star Bobi Klintman got to play for the first time this season. Afterward, he was praised by Detroit's coach, but was not satisfied himself.

It felt good, at the same time it's sour, he says to Expressen after the loss against Cleveland (95–116).

The 22-year-old Malmö kid has been sitting on the sidelines in Detroit's three first matches this season.

At home against Cleveland, he entered the court in the last quarter. Then Detroit was already behind by 33 points and the match was lost.

Maybe Klintman should have gotten the chance earlier, because he impressed directly and was noted for two points, three rebounds and +12 in plus-minus.

Every time I get the chance to go out on the court and play, I always do my best. Those who know how I play know that I play the right way. Try to involve everyone and help the team. I feel that I contribute to that today, he says to Expressen.

Detroit's coach JB Bickerstaff praised Bobi Klintman.

He is a really good basketball player when he gets his opportunities, says Bickerstaff to Expressen.

He is a guy who makes things happen. There will be opportunities for him.

Klintman made his debut in the world's best basketball league last season. He declined European Championship play with Sweden in the summer to instead prepare for this NBA season.
