The Ministry of Foreign Affairs advises against travel to areas of Panama within 20 kilometres of the border with Colombia

"The security situation in the border area with Colombia is serious, with a high risk of violence and crime," the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' press service wrote in an email to TT.
