A Swedish man who was paid by the late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein to find young women in several countries denies any criminal wrongdoing.

"I'm not hiding anything. I'm very happy that my work with this gentleman, Epstein, has been very professional. I have nothing to hide," the man told SVT News on Monday.

The comment comes after his name appeared in hundreds of emails and text messages published as part of the Epstein files, which show that the Swede traveled around the world to "scout" young female models.

The close contact between the two men reportedly lasted for about ten years until 2019, shortly before Epstein was arrested by police.
