A Swedish man in his 30s has gone missing since he fell overboard from a sailboat during a competition in the Atlantic, writes Aftonbladet.
The accident occurred on Monday night, and the Swede was wearing a life jacket that inflates automatically and has a lamp that lights up.
An American sea rescue vessel led a search operation in which two other boats also participated. No aircraft could be used due to the distance from land.
The British sailing organization World Cruising Club confirms the incident and states that the Swede's relatives have been informed about the accident.
TT has sought comments from the Ministry for Foreign Affairs regarding the incident.
